High School Services

The high school years don't have to be overwhelming. They can be full of opportunities to advance your child's education for future success, gain hands on life experience to help them in their next steps following graduation, all while enjoying time well spent investing in their future.

Preparation begins early for high school. For this reason, Excalibur requires enrollment prior to the child's senior year. A high school planning seminar is offered for families with students in 6th-9th grade.  Families will meet with the high school counselor as they begin their journey in high school. During the student’s junior year, families meet with the high school counselor to ensure the student is prepared for graduation and post high school plans. Transcripts are reviewed several times to make sure all state requirements are met.

The following is a list of some of the services we offer to current or graduated Excalibur members:

  • school authorization for driver's permit 

  • assistance with dual enrollment

  • transcript guidance

  • preparation seminars for high school and post high school opportunities

  • club opportunities, such as Beta, Math, and Robotics

  • transcript and post high school opportunities seminars

  • graduation ceremony

  • high school diploma

  • accurate transcripts that meet or exceed Alabama's state graduation requirements

  • college application guidance

  • post high school support for job verification and security clearance

  • archived transcripts for future requests

Excalibur's established relationship with regional colleges streamlines college application processes, allowing our graduates to often bypass the extra homeschool requirements. ​
